ABOUT US

WHO ARE WE?

JMH training was established in 2001. Our highly experienced staff have been involved in alternative education for nearly 20 years and have worked with Girls and Boys all across Merseyside.

The programme concentrates on the following key areas

  • Increased attendance
  • Engaging with others
  • Building confidence and motivation
  • Behavioural improvements
  • Appropriate qualifications

We achieve this by working in small numbers and offer one to one support to provide our student’s tailor- made programmes as well as offering transport to and from the learning site.

WHAT WE OFFER

We offer alternative education provision to pupils who may struggle with mainstream education. HISTORY OF JMH TRAINING

JMH opened its doors in 2001 as a pilot course for Knowsley Education as the Work based Learning Programme which was a great success and has helped many young people across the Liverpool, Sefton and Knowsley boroughs to gain Qualifications and progressed on to Post 16 and Employment.

Presently we are contracted with Liverpool City council to deliver placements for 13-16 yr old pupils who have been permanently excluded or are at risk of permanent exclusion from mainstream schools . We also work direct with schools across Liverpool and Knowsley.

“My daughter loves it here she is much happier now, she says it's like a little family, the JMH family.

I am grateful for the support, care and the personal touch that JMH gives, they go above and beyond and are always there to help you even at weekends and during holidays.

They have been a godsend to me with my Macy, she is like a different kid. I couldn't recommend them enough”

Parent

“I was desperately unhappy in school, same thing every day stuck in a classroom looking at the whiteboard. I'd end up in some kind of trouble.

JMH understood this, my classroom is now the sports hall, I'm on my way to becoming a coach and i've never felt happier.

The support and guidance they have given me here has literally changed my life for the better and I have realised school isn't for everyone.”
